Who it's for

Is FamHuddle right for your family?

A great fit
  • Kids in activities most weeks
  • One person ends up keeping track of it all
  • Others help with the driving: a partner, a grandparent or a sitter
  • Plans change, and someone has to chase a yes
Not the right fit yet
  • You'd rather nothing checks with you first
  • One shared calendar already works for you
  • You need meals, chores or shopping lists too

Features

Everything in the pilot.

01

One plan, shared

Invite the other parent to see the same week. Grandparents and sitters answer rides from a link, free.

02

A nudge at leave-by time

Push or email, inside your quiet hours.

03

Changes re-ask the driver

If the time moves, adults in the app are asked again. For a link driver, FamHuddle reminds you to send a new link.

04

Cancellation warnings

You choose. Nothing disappears on its own.

05

In the calendar you already use

A private, read-only calendar link.

06

Nothing quietly dropped

If a message has nothing for the plan, it says so.

07

Driving clashes, flagged

Link your calendar. FamHuddle flags a ride that overlaps a busy hour.

Add the calendar link from TeamSnap, SportsEngine or LeagueApps. New games wait in Review.

Frequently asked questions

What is FamHuddle?
FamHuddle is a family logistics app for iPhone, Android and the web. It reads the school and activity messages parents already get, like a coach's email, a flyer photo or a team chat screenshot, and turns them into one plan for the week: who's driving each drop-off and pickup, what each child needs to pack, and when to leave. FamHuddle proposes, and nothing reaches the plan until a parent confirms. Every ride stays requested until a named adult says yes, and a grandparent or sitter can accept from a link without installing the app. When a practice moves, the drivers are asked again. Each evening at 7:30, the Huddle shows what tomorrow needs. FamHuddle was founded by Bryan Nguyen and is made by NetCORE Investment Group in San Francisco. It is running a free four-week pilot with 15 US families in fall 2026.
Does it add things to our plan on its own?
No. It proposes and shows the line it read. Nothing reaches your plan until a parent confirms.
Does anyone else need the app?
The other parent gets their own account on the same plan. Anyone else who drives, like a grandparent, a sitter or another parent from the team, answers ride requests from a link, with no app and no account.
Is FamHuddle a carpool app?
No. FamHuddle plans your family's whole activity week from the messages you already get: what's on, what each child needs to pack, when to leave and who's driving. Rides are one part of it. Each drop-off and pickup stays requested until a named driver says yes, and a grandparent, a sitter or another team parent can say yes from a link, without the app. Carpool apps only schedule driving between families.
What if it reads something wrong?
You fix it before you confirm. Tell us when it happens: finding misreads is the point of the pilot.
How much work is it each week?
Forward or snap messages as they arrive, then check and confirm. For the pilot, add a three-question form once a week.
What happens to the messages I forward?
They follow a published retention schedule, never appear in logs or analytics, and are never sold. You can delete everything from Settings.
Which phones does it work on?
Both. On iPhone, you install the app through Apple's TestFlight. On Android, you start with famhuddle.app in Chrome, added to your Home screen so it opens like an app and sends reminders, and the Play Store app follows during the pilot. Your plan carries over.
What does it cost?
Free for 4 weeks, then two more months free. After that, pilot families pay a founding price of $59 a year instead of $89, kept for as long as they stay, or simply stop. No card until you choose.
How is it different from a shared family calendar?
A shared calendar holds only what someone types into it, so one parent still reads every email and enters every practice. FamHuddle starts from the messages themselves: forward the coach's email or a flyer photo and it drafts the event, with the line it read it from. Nothing reaches the plan until a parent confirms. It also does what a calendar doesn't. It puts a driver on each drop-off and pickup and asks the other adult to say yes, works out when to leave from travel and arrival times, keeps a packing list for each activity, and flags a message that might cancel practice. You don't have to give up your calendar: your plan can show there through a read-only link, and FamHuddle never writes to it.
Is FamHuddle a carpool app?
No. Carpool apps match drivers across families and rotate turns between them. FamHuddle plans one household's week. Each drop-off and pickup gets a driver: ask the other adult in the app, or send a link to someone outside the family, like a grandparent, a neighbor or another team parent. They say yes from the link, with no app to install. If a driver can't make it, the ride shows "Needs a driver" until someone takes it. It doesn't find drivers for you or split turns with other families.
Can it read my TeamSnap, SportsEngine or LeagueApps schedule?
Yes. Copy the team's calendar link: in TeamSnap, open the team's Schedule, then Settings, then Sync Calendar / Export; in SportsEngine or LeagueApps, use the calendar's Subscribe or iCal button. Add the link in FamHuddle under Settings, Team schedule feeds. Other team apps work the same way if they give you a calendar link. New and changed games land in Review, matched to the activity you already have where they can be. Nothing goes on the plan until you confirm it.
I run a team, a PTA or a class. Can I share the pilot?
Yes, please. Print a flyer for your group: type its name and the page makes a QR code with your group's own link. You can also paste that link into a team chat or newsletter. We'll tell you how many of your families applied.
How do I reach you?
Email support@famhuddle.app. A person reads every message and replies within one day. Pilot families can also report a problem from inside the app.
