Which cookies and similar storage FamHuddle uses, and why. Short, because there's little to list.
The short version
- This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
- The web app uses only essential cookies, mainly to keep you signed in.
- The iPhone and Android apps use no cookies.
- Blocking essential cookies means you can't sign in to the web app.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar storage, such as local storage and an offline cache, works the same way for our purposes, so this policy covers all of it.
This website
The site you're reading sets no cookies. It stores one item in your browser's local storage, fh-consent, to remember your choice on the privacy notice. It stays until you clear your browser's storage.
The page loads one font, IBM Plex Sans, from Google Fonts; Google receives your IP address to deliver it. Every other file comes from our own server.
The FamHuddle web app
All of these are essential, set by FamHuddle itself, and never used for tracking or advertising.

The web app also keeps a small offline copy of its own pages so it opens quickly. It holds no family data.
The iPhone and Android apps
The mobile apps use no cookies. Your sign-in is kept in your phone's secure storage.
What we don't use
No analytics cookies, no advertising or targeting cookies, no social media cookies and no third-party trackers.
Your choices
On your first visit, a privacy notice asks you to accept or reject optional cookies. Today there are none, so either choice changes nothing; if we ever add optional cookies, they stay off unless you accept. To see the notice again, clear this site's storage in your browser.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the web app's essential cookies stops you signing in.
Changes to this policy
If we add a cookie, we list it here and update the date at the top before it's used.
